Food is the most essential school supply, yet one in four children in Moore faces hunger. You can help!
The Backpack Program provides nutritious, kid-friendly food for chronically hungry elementary school children over weekends and school holidays. Last year in Moore, 25 elementary schools served 656 children through this program. Your help is needed to ensure children in Moore have enough to eat this school year.
Through September 30th, donations to the Food for Kids program will be matched, up to $150,000! Donations are matched by the Masonic Fraternity of Oklahoma, Benvenuti’s Ristorante, David Gorham and two anonymous donors. Hunger must end before learning begins.
